A Gravely mower at work
Your own property

Built for the property you actually own

The homeowner Gravely® line carries fabricated decks and commercial-grade engines on a machine sized for one property — which is why people keep them for a decade.

Who this group is for

Anyone mowing their own ground, most weeks of the season, who would rather buy once than replace a mower every few years.

The argument here is durability rather than throughput. A fabricated deck takes an impact that dents a stamped one; a serviceable spindle is an hour in the shop rather than a deck replacement. You notice it in year six, not year one.

ZT HD Stealth is newer than the AriensCo line handout this grouping comes from, and is placed here by product category.

How to choose inside it

  • Start with your acreage

Under an acre, storage matters more than speed. Above three, deck width starts saving real time.

  • Then measure the gate

It is the hard constraint. The widest deck that clears it is usually the right answer.

  • Then think about the ground

Trees, beds and slopes reward a narrower, tighter-turning machine over a wide one.

The mower is the easy half

What decides whether you like it in year eight is the shop behind it.

  • Set up before it leaves

Deck levelled, blades checked, controls set to you — not dropped off in a crate.

  • Serviced where you bought it

The same shop, with your model and serial on file.

  • Parts on the shelf

Blades, belts and filters are wear items. We keep them.

Common questions

How much mower do I need for two acres?

Most two-acre properties are comfortable on a 42″ to 52″ deck. The gate and the obstacles matter more than the acreage once you are past about an acre.

Is a commercial mower worth it for a homeowner?

Sometimes. If you have real acreage, keep machines a long time, or mow rough ground, the heavier build pays for itself. If you have a flat half-acre, it is more machine than the job.

What is the difference between the ZT series?

Deck, engine and frame step up together as you move through the line. The comparison page puts them side by side.

Will Koenig deliver it?

Ask a rep — delivery is arranged from the store nearest you.

Who services it afterwards?

Our own shops, by technicians who see the Gravely® line every week.
