What actually decides it

The question at home is how much of your Saturday the lawn takes, and how many years the machine lasts before it starts costing you weekends in the shop. That is why the homeowner Gravely® series carry fabricated decks rather than stamped ones — it is a durability argument aimed at people who keep a mower for a decade.
